We’ve now reached the end of our third week of term and it has been another busy and positive one at TGS. I am very pleased to share that we have been awarded the Music Mark of Recognition. This is a fantastic achievement and a real credit to our brilliant Music team, who have worked so hard to support our students and provide such rich opportunities in music.

A big well done to them all. This week we also held our Key Stage 5, 4 and 3 Family Forums. It was lovely to see so many of you there and to have the chance to share key information about how we can continue to work together in supporting your child through their journey with us. Thank you, as always, for your ongoing support.

Today brought something a little different – our Mr Bradley Tie Day. There were plenty of funny, unusual and downright questionable ties on display around school! From novelty cartoon prints to ties that looked like they had survived the 1980s, it certainly added some colour to the corridors and gave us all a good laugh.

Looking ahead, on Wednesday 24th September from 5:00pm, we will be opening our doors to prospective families at our Year 6 Open Evening. This will be a great opportunity for our future students and their parents to get a taste of what life is like as part of our amazing school community.

Please enjoy this weeks newsletter with photos from Mr Bradley Charity Tie Day, news from this week, upcoming events, Sports & House news and a student spotlight on a young Suffolk Sports star. Please find the link for this here.
