We are seeking to appoint committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our successful and popular school.
The successful candidate will:
- Support pupils to access learning and achieve positive outcomes.
- Deliver targeted small-group interventions, including support for literacy, numeracy, and social development.
- Provide one-to-one support where required, which may include supporting pupils with SEMH needs, personal care, or medical needs, in line with individual support plans.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is able to work independently while contributing positively to a strong team ethos.
- Is flexible and responsive to the changing needs of pupils and the school.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Uses initiative and problem-solving skills to support pupils effectively.
- Brings warmth, resilience, and a sense of humour to the role.
We welcome applications from candidates with experience of supporting pupils with SEND, as well as those with relevant experience in exams, pastoral, or teaching support roles. We also encourage applications from individuals new to education who can demonstrate transferable skills and a strong commitment to inclusive practice.
