This week we were delighted to welcome a group of German students visiting from our partner school, the Von-Müller Gymnasium in Regensburg. It’s been fantastic to see them immerse themselves in school life here at TGS and really embrace our community and culture. Our students have been brilliant hosts — welcoming them, learning about their traditions, and even picking up a few German words and phrases ready for when it’s our turn to visit Germany in March.
We also had our very own Three Peaks Challenge this week, with staff and students taking on three floors of stairs around 36 times! It was great fun and a real test of endurance — well done to everyone who took part. There have definitely been a few tired legs spotted in the corridors today!
As we head into our two-week half term, I hope you all have a chance to rest, recharge and spend time together.
We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Monday 10th November.
