My Time As An Ambassador For The Children's Commissioner For England - Violet Devereux
Yesterday Year 13 TGS Sixth Form student Violet Devereux spoke in assembly about her role as an Ambassador for the Children's Commissioner for England. She explained her role and the things achieved and experienced so far this year. These included the Young Carers Action Day, The Festival of Childhood, a Tech company 'Roundtable', Mental Health Awareness Week, Media Training, Podcasts with the Youth Sports Trust, a report and consequential blog on Assisted Dying and the Youth Shadow Panel Event in Parliament; to name just a few!
Violet educated us all on "The Big Ambition" and how the results of this are influencing the goals and ambitions of Dame rachel de Souza, The Children's Commissioner for England.
We are so very proud of Violet and her fellow Ambassadors for their hard work and drive in this field. Our future students will be very grateful for the changes suggested and improvements made for all. Thank you Violet for sharing your presentation with us (please see this attached to the resources at the right of the page)
