Guest Speaker : Milly Walpole, Head of Extremism in Prisons

Year 12 Assembly Guest Speaker - Alumni Milly Walpole

Ex student Milly Walpole visited us on Monday 3rd March. She is currently Head of Extremism at HM Prison.

Milly delivered an assembly to our Year 12 students, where she discussed

* The role of the civil service

* Ministry of Justice & Ministerial engagement

* Her role specifically and daily tasks.

* Options to being a Civil servant.

We were fortunate to then have Milly join an Employer Spotlight session in the Careers hub, with students from lower school who were interested in this line of work, and who came to ask questions and learn more about role possibilities.

Milly then also joined a Year 12 Criminology class, and spent some time with our Year 13 Law students.

It was a privilege to have Milly spend the day with us. We were very grateful for her time and the students found her knowledge invaluable
