Girls Cricket Match
Rosie Turner shares her description of the match with us...
On Thursday the 26th of February, the girls cricket team headed to St Joseph's College in Ipswich for our first competitive match.
When we arrived, we found out that unfortunately two of the four teams were unable to make the event, so it was just us against St Joseph's.
After having a quick practice of bowling, we began the match. We quickly realised they were a strong team, so we knew we had to up our game. There was some great bowling on both sides and even a few run outs. Despite our best efforts, St Joseph's were the winning side.
We had a great afternoon and are looking forward to our next match.
Thank you to our amazing sixth form coaches Hadyn, Hannah and Charlie and also Mr Alexander for not only driving us to Ipswich but for being our biggest supporter!
