Please come along to see work/performances from students in Fine Art, Three Dimensional Design, Graphic Communication, Textiles, Photography, Music, Drama and Dance.

Whole School Picnic - Friday 11 July, P3

Bringing the school together for an afternoon.

Students are invited to bring a picnic blanket and food for our Whole School Picnic.

There will also be an ice-cream van and students may bring money in for that too.

Mill Tye Gallery & TGS - Young Artists Summer Exhibition

We are proud that some of our students will have their work exhibited at Mill Tye Gallery over the summer break. There is an exhibition preview on Saturday 19th July from 10:30 am until 6:00 pm. The exhibition runs until Monday 25th August - the regular gallery hours are Thursday to Sunday 10:30 am until 4:00 pm.

As we move towards the summer break, we are hopeful the weather remains warm and sunny to encourage time away from screens. Contained in July's Newsletter are sentence starters to get conversations underway between parents and their children. 

However, there may be those rainy days in which your children seek solace on their devices. This month, we ask families to be vigilant when their children start to discuss online challenges - of which there are many. The idea of these stem from video streaming platforms and pose many risks. Lost Property - Reminder

There are still many unclaimed items of lost property, please ask your child to speak to Student Services before the end of term if they have lost an item this school year.

Community Fun Days 

Abbeycroft and Explore Outdoor have again partnered with Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Council to provide FREE Community Fun Days in 4 locations in Babergh and Mid Suffolk from the 21st-28th July.

  • Hadleigh

  • Stowmarket

 

These days are free for all, however any children entitled to means tested Free School Meals will be able to pre-book some activities as well as a free packed lunch and an ice cream!
