Dear Families
We hope you all enjoyed the Easter break. It was encouraging to see so many Year 11 and 13 students attend the many revision sessions that staff provided during the holiday and also to see the wonderful photographs from the Classics visit to Pompeii.
A key focus this term, apart from exams, will be attendance and continuing to support families to ensure students attend school whenever they are well enough. We will also be looking at the support given inside classrooms to students with SEND needs.
We would also like to extend our best wishes and good luck to Mr Gibson, Mr Ponsford, Miss Sevrin and V1 form student Tommy Ponsford who are all taking part in the London marathon on Sunday.
Students this week have already been creating and performing wonderful pieces of art through their dance exams and in the first round of visual arts exams for Year 11 and 13s. Well done to all those students for the strong start you have made.
