It was a pleasure to welcome students back to school on Monday. We have a very busy but short half term ahead of us and we are looking forward to the excellence that our students will demonstrate.
Enrichment Update for Autumn Term
Our regular clubs are also available on our website at www.tgschool.net/enrichment we have published our updated list of extra-curricular clubs for this half term. For co-curricular activities to support learning the same sessions run as last half term, with additional information coming from subject teams.
Remembrance 2024
We had the honour of being invited to take part in the Remembrance ceremony at the Cenotaph in London on Monday. Six students were chosen to lay the wreath on behalf of our school community.

Sixth Form Applications info & thanks for Thurs
We had our most successful open evening on Thursday, with nearly 200 prospective students attending. Great feedback from visiting families, which is testament to the fantastic staff and students at TGS. SEND & Attendance Forum - Wednesday 20 November - 5-7pm
On Wednesday 20th November, TGS are hosting a SEND & attendance forum from 5pm-7pm.
Come in to meet our attendance and SEND support teams, as well as external agencies, and discuss any issues we may be able to support your child with.
Talks with our SENco, Mrs WIlby, will be at 5pm and 6.00pm, followed by talks from our Attendance Lead, Miss Alston, at 5.15pm and 6.15pm in our Assembly Hall.

Artsmark Celebration Week - 11th - 15th November
We have been celebrating our visual and performing arts this week. We are so proud to have so many talented students who exhibit their excellence with creativity and passion.

Save Our Suffolk Swifts
In the next few months we will be installing swift nesting boxes in our premises. These have been kindly donated by Cornard Environmental & Wildlife Group.

The Third Annual Quiz Night in memory of Will Leonard
Thank you to those who took part in this event in memory of Will and the Sixth Form team who organised it.
Approx £150 was raised and it will all go towards the charity ‘Fighting Ependymoma’ which supports other young people like Will and the costly research into childhood ependymoma brain cancer.

Competitions
