TGS Rugby Team Debut News
This week, the new TGS Sixth Form rugby team had its maiden fixture against Stoke College. Despite the rather chilly weather and drizzle, the team was not deterred and pulled off a convincing 50-0 victory. With excellent help from the thunderous conversions of Jacob Wood and Max Shenton’s vitalizing leadership we cruised to victory. We are proud of our performance both on and off the field and to have delivered Mr Alexander his first fixture and win as head coach. Hopefully this success will promote rugby throughout the Sixth Form and lead to future fixtures.
