During the options process of Spring 2024 we offered the opportunity to study GCSE Statistics. Because only a small number of students expressed an interest we have decided to offer this as an after school and holiday activity, with online support and teaching throughout the year.
A good grade is achievable for students with a high level of motivation, and a willingness to attend weekly session and complete practise tasks in between. We provide all the resources and teaching.
If you or your child are interested then they can complete this online form. There is also an introductory session after school on Thursday 18 July. We will contact parents of all students who express an interest, and those who requested GCSE Statistics as an option course to arrange a couple of convenient dates during the summer to start the teaching. When the enrichment calendar for autumn is published we will also agree a convenient day for teaching after school.

The school pays for the entries to the qualification, and in February, having completed a practise exam, students will need to decide if they wish to be entered.
